Pole Dance/Pole Fitness

The Art of Dancing on a Vertical Barre, created by Exotic Dancers, that now transcends many styles of expression, including those inspired by ancient acrobats, gymnastic athletes & modern dancers. There is a style of Pole Dance for everyone, from Sexy, Dramatic, Entertainment, Sporty, & whatever else sparks your imagination. We are here to help you find your Pole Style, or introduce you to all of them.

Aerial Hoop/Lyra

The aerial hoop (also known as "lyra" or "cerceau") is a type of performance in which an artist performs aerial acrobatics while hanging from a large metal ring about the size of a hula hoop. The aerial hoop can be used much like a static trapeze, but it's hung on a swivel and can also be swung or spun. The performer moves around the hoop while hanging in the air, performing a wide range of movements including balances, drops, and hangs.

Flexibility

Stretching regularly increases your range of motion, which will make everything you do, both on and off the pole, more graceful! Stretching also prevents injury and conditions your body for any athletic activity! Our Flexy Gainz classes are the perfect class to compliment any aerial workout. Using a combo of active, passive and partner techniques, we rotate daily through all major muscle groups, and help you gain flexibility goals like Splits, Backbends and more.

Here at Vertical Fitness Studio, our core belief is "Pole Is For Every Body." We have developed a program and a culture to fit and welcome every body type, and make every students’ goals our top priority. Whether you are a seasoned poler or aerialist, looking to master exotic dance, or  have never worked out before, we have something for everyone!  We feature an extensive schedule with classes 7 days a week, so there's room for us in almost any busy day. Vertical Fitness culture is welcoming to all genders, all races, religions, sizes & other diversifying factors, and we have a zero tolerance policy in regards to shame or bullying. Because of this, our students often tell us that Vertical Fitness is a second home to them, and they love their pole family. We would love you to join our family today!

Vertical Fitness Studio!


We are the longest run Pole Fitness & Aerial Arts Studio in the Roseville & Sacramento Areas, with additional locations opening soon! We pride ourselves on our core belief "Pole Is For Everybody" meaning that anyone with any body can Pole Dance and reap the physical, mental and emotional benefits. We welcome all body types, and all gender expressions, while offering a wide variety of Pole, Aerial, Flexibility and Sensual Movement classes 7 days a week!

For new students, we have an Intro To Pole course, Pole Foundations, with several available time slots per week, which must be registered for in advance. Upon completing a minimum of 8 Pole Foundations classes and a skills test, you can become eligible for membership. Experienced Pole Dancer? We understand! For experienced dancers, we offer the option to waive the 8 Foundation Classes requirement. Sign up for a single Foundations class, and request to demonstrate your skills at the end. Our highly trained instructors will assess your level and pass you through to be able to join as a member or purchase a class pass. 

All classes at VFS must be paid and registered in advance, and are non refundable at time of purchase. Please select your class purchases carefully.
